With the recent remodel of Portland’s popular Hotel Mallory, now the "Hotel Deluxe", came the opening of Gracie’s Restaurant. Located inside the Hotel Deluxe, Gracie’s features fine dinning in an elegant setting. Both the hotel and restaurant have been thoughtfully remodeled in an art deco, Hollywood-themed, style. Next to Graice’s is the Driftwood lounge, a swanky Portland standby. Fancypants proudly created the identity and print collateral for Graice's, as well as the menu design for the Driftwood Lounge. Charles A. Hartman Fine Art, a private dealer, specializes in fine vintage photographs from the 19th and 20th centuries, with a focus on works from 1920-1960. Fancypants Design created the identity system and website.

Local organic cider company, Ford Farms, sought the help of Fancypants to redesign their existing bottle label.
Among their requests was to add sophistication while retaining elements of the former label.
Keeping the logo and typeface, we introduced a more iconic and eye-catching apple image.
We also enhanced its readability and tied in the color of the hand-dipped wax seal.
The torn edge look helps hide mistakes from the hand-labeling process.

These menus, coasters, and matchbooks were created for Stage 16, a themed restaurant dedicated to Warner Bros. Films.
As the restaurant interior replicated scenes in various Warner Bros. movies, the menu was designed as the script for the evening's meal.

50 Hikes in the Tillamook State Forest is the first book of its kind to highlight hiking trails inside this unspoiled wilderness. The book features a description of each hike, states the level of difficulty, and provides a detailed map of the area.
Hikers can also read a history of the Tillamook State Forest, learn about forest vegetation, and get helpful safety tips.

This 26-page, full-color gallery book, entitled Northwest Matriarchs of Modernism: 12 Proto-feminists from Oregon and Washington, was produced to correspond with the opening of an art show held at Marylhurst University.
The show featured women artists who launched careers in the 1930s through the 1960s and were significant contributors to the art of the Pacific Northwest.
The gallery book utilizes elements of book design characteristic of the 30s, 40s and 50s.

This series of five weekly mailers was sent to interior designers to announce Classic Cloth's new fabric line.
Without revealing exact details of the new line, the writing evoked emotions inspired by each fabric's colors and luxury, and the paper choice for each card reflected the texture of the fabrics.
The final six-panel piece of the series was an invitation to a party where the fabric line was unveiled.
